April fools! I didn’t cut off my hair (I would never!). I did, however, quit my office job. Today is my last day!
Starting tomorrow, I will enjoy a two week staycation, then start working from home. I can’t wait to hang out with Cookie all day, cook lunch in my own kitchen, listen to music as loud as I want, and work in my PJ’s. Not to mention my “commute” from my bed to my desk is about 25 feet, as opposed to a 45 minute drive. More than anything, I’m looking forward to a more balanced lifestyle, with more time for photography, friends, books and exercise.
My new job will be to nerd out on my mom’s redesigned website. I’ll manage the launch, strategy and marketing, and hopefully help her make gobs of money off of it.
I also have fun plans for this little blog of mine, and I look forward to dedicating more time to you all.
Please, do a little dance, or a cartwheel if you’re inclined. Let’s cheers to good news!
Happy Friday,
Kate

You are sooooo lucky. My dream is to work from home in my pj’s. Congratulations and good luck! :)

Don’t you DARE cut off that hair… it would be like cookies without milk, french fries without ketchup, mac without cheese……..
I think I’m hungry.

Don’t worry, my hair is not going anywhere. I fear a major backlash from all of my guy friends if I chopped it off. Of course, I’m pretty attached to it myself!

You know I love this news. Except we’ll probably keep you a bit busier than you think…. :)

I’m really glad the hair cut was an April fool’s. I’m growing mine again after cutting too much off last year and yours is beautiful. Big big hooray for working from home and more time for the things you treasure! Can’t wait to see the adventures on here.
