Let’s pretend for a moment that a wizard appeared on my doorstep last night and handed over loads of cash to blow on a new fall wardrobe. (Sorry, I’m on a Harry Potter kick. It’s all her fault.)
Given an unlimited budget, I would snatch up these pieces: silk tops with flattering silhouettes, chic pleated pants, classic riding boots and accessories that could liven up any outfit. Each is a deep shade of gray or black and features subtle details, patterns and/or textures that catch the eye. These selections would blend seamlessly with the basics in my closet and update my wardrobe for fall.
All I need now are cooler temps and that cash-bearing wizard…
