Hello and Happy October, my friends! Soon we’ll be carving pumpkins in scarves and boots. Hooray! I’m writing this on vacation in Seattle; I am head over heels in love with this city. It possesses the the elegance of Paris, the gray skies of London, and the convenient light rail system of Bordeaux.
I spent the morning exploring Pike Place Market, which is just a few blocks from our hotel in Downtown Seattle. It’s truly a magical place. I can’t quite put it into words yet, so I thought I’d share some photos of beautiful fall flowers befitting the first of October. Happy Friday to all!

oh i am so jealous! we were in seattle in may, and it went straight to the top of my short list of cities i’d live in. i didn’t love it at first (i compare everything to new york) but it grew on me in our short trip, and looking back… i loved it. the weather certainly beats this oklahoma heat!
enjoy your trip! oh, and you should try black bottle in belltown… that place was our favorite!
