Hot, humid days call for refreshing frozen treats, am I right? Here’s an ultra-creamy smoothie recipe made with pineapple, coconut and avocado. It’s a vegan recipe adapted from Healthy Happy Life.
Piña-vocado Smoothie
Author: Cookie and Kate
Recipe type: Smoothie
Serves: 1
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 avocado
- 1/2 of a frozen banana
- 1/2 a lime’s worth of lime juice
- 3 Tbsp coconut milk, if you have it
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Blend well, pour into a glass and enjoy! Serves one. I like to garnish mine with unsweetened coconut flakes and a lime wedge.
I particularly like this smoothie because it is incredibly creamy and incorporates some healthy fat. Have you tried avocado in your smoothies yet?

I haven’t tried avo in smoothies yet, but I certainly will! This looks delish!
wow what a blend of fruits!! i love avocados in my smoothies (just honey + milk + avo) but never had them mixed with other fruits!
This is an interesting twist and what a great flavor idea! I haven’t used avocado in a smoothie yet, but I certainly will now! I think it will compliment really nicely with the pineapple.
this looks so good and creamy! beautiful picture as usual
Pineapple and coconut milk sound like a wonderful addition to the avo, and this photo is just gorgeous :) I love your blog, Kate!
Thank you, Megan! I have been a big fan of your blog for a while now. I’m glad you came to visit!
I love the name of this smoothie and avocadoes are my absolute fav in smoothies. I’m just adoring your blog. xo
This is entirely awesome and I think I need to try it. YUM coconut milk!!
Nice flavor for a summer treat. This is probably the creamiest smoothie I have ever had. It has the consistency of yogurt.
Thanks, Gwen!
