Marcia
The timing of this post couldn’t be better! My friend was rolling out pie crust dough for her pumpkin pies this past week and was so frustrated with her rolling pin, which is the same as one I inherited and hate. We agreed that French rolling pins would be much better and then voilá! Here’s your post with a link to Vermont Farm Table with the perfect rolling pin! I ordered two in cherry– one for my friend for a Christmas present and, of course, one for me :-) And best of all, I got them for 15% off AND free shipping! An added bonus is knowing I’m supporting a small American business. Thanks for the link as well as the endorsement, Kate!
Kate
You are welcome, Marcia! I am happy you found it helpful.

Loved your recommendation for the Allbirds Wool Runners. Ordered them almost immediately as I was looking for a stylish yet comfy walking shoe other than my NB cross trainers. Thanks much! They are awesome!
Kate
You are welcome! I am happy it was helpful :)

I bought your Cookbook for my office “Gift Exchange” in which “stealing” was encouraged. I have to tell you, your book was stolen twice before it was locked down -people really loved it. Absolutely beautiful book!
Kate
Ha! That’s a fun idea. Happy to hear it was wanted. :)

Thanks, Kate, for the great gift guide. So many new ideas, so much inspiration! :)
For the cook (or foodie) I also recommend the most comprehensive cookbook I’ve come across: Vegan Cuisine by Jean-Christian Jury. 500 recipes, 800 pages, with dishes and flavors from around the world.
Kate
I’m happy to hear it was inspirational! Thanks for checking it out.

Quick question – what size Instant Pot do you have? I’ve been debating getting one, but I am usually only cooking for one person so I’m kind of leaning towards the 3 quart and not the 6. I love your recipes though, so I wanted to see what size you use!
Kate
Sorry for the slow response, Emily! I have the duo60 and it’s plenty big for me!
